Red Lotus Bistro started with a simple idea: why choose between the Chinese and Vietnamese dishes we grew up eating when we could serve both, done right, under one roof? What began as a family kitchen has grown into a downtown Salt Lake City staple, but the heart of it hasn't changed — we still cook the way our own families taught us, one pot of broth and one wok at a time.
Scratch-Made, Start to Finish
Nothing in our kitchen comes from a shortcut. Our pho broth simmers low and slow for hours, our stir-fry sauces are blended by hand in small batches, and our wontons are folded fresh to order. It's more work, but it's the only way we know how to cook, and the only way these dishes taste the way they're supposed to.
